According to a Chinese proverb, “Tension is who you think you should be. Relaxation is who you are.”
When I do yoga or roll on a ball, I always feel like I’m returning to myself. The stress of the day falls away. My body and spirit are reunited. After yoga, I’m like the snowman in the commercial who becomes a little boy after a bowl of soup: restored to my true nature.
